You can also swipe a notification to the right to dismiss it quickly with either touch or by clicking and dragging with the mouse. If you set Hide all notifications to Enabledchanging the Hide non-critical notifications setting will have no effect. If you can’t find it lying around, one way to recover it is using one of the many “key finder” tools available online. Otherwise, you may need to contact Microsoft support to ask for a replacement.
